GARDENS

The garden and grounds form an outstanding setting and are a particular feature with a driveway and a turning area to the front of the house, lawns and various mature trees and shrubs including rhododendrons. The driveway continues through a five bar gate to a further large parking area to the front of the cottage. To the rear, adjoining the house, is a stone paved terrace, and beyond a large area of sweeping lawn with mature rhododendrons and a ha-ha at the far end. To one side there are trees, shrubs and yew hedging and beyond a paved terrace with a walk through a yew arch to a series of formal hedge enclosed gardens, some with box hedging and beyond a further private area with an abundance of mature trees and shrubs.
